My Testimonial for Eds (Maria)
I have known Eds since 2003, long before she became my financial advisor. Even then, I already knew her as someone with strong character, driven, purposeful, and genuinely committed to what she does. So when she approached me in 2012 to educate me about financial planning, preparing for the future, and protecting what matters most to me, there was already a level of trust and familiarity between us. At that time, I was going through severe anxiety and was looking for someone who could help me make better financial decisions. Her timing could not have been more appropriate.
Over the years, Eds became more than just my financial advisor. We became close, almost like family, and my trust in her grew not only because of her knowledge and professionalism, but because I know her character and, more importantly, I know what she stands for. Her advocacy to help OFWs build financial security for themselves and their families is something I genuinely believe in, and that is why I have confidently introduced her to my own family and friends.
For me, trust is different when you personally know the person behind the advice. I know that when Eds prepares a proposal, it is not simply about presenting a financial product. It is about understanding where you are, what you need, and how you can build greater security for the future.
I remember something my boss once told me: when you already know something that gives real value to you, you do not always have to keep looking or trying something else just for the sake of comparison. When you already know and have something good, you recognize its value..., you are confident that you already have the best.
That is how I feel about Eds.
After all these years, my trust in her has only grown stronger, my confidence in her advice has only deepened, and I continue to recommend her to the people who matter to me. And this for me..., says more than any credential ever could.
