Most families don't fall apart because a loved one passes on. They fall apart because nobody planned for what happens after.
As a Certified Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP®), my work centres on ensuring your surviving family can continue their daily lives with minimal disruption when you are no longer around to guide them. This means going beyond policies and portfolios to properly structure your Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, CPF nominations, and trust arrangements, so that your intentions are honoured, not contested.
I see myself as operating like a TCM physician, not a Western one. A Western doctor treats the symptom in front of him. A TCM physician asks why the symptom appeared in the first place and treats the body as one interconnected system where every organ affects another. I apply the same philosophy to your finances. A client who comes to me worried about insufficient retirement income is showing me a symptom, not the root cause. Dig deeper, and the real issue is often an over-leveraged property portfolio with no liquidity buffer, CPF monies left underutilised, or no estate structure to protect what's already been built. Treating the symptom alone with a quick-fix investment product may bring temporary relief, but the underlying imbalance remains, and it will resurface, usually at the worst possible time. My job is to find and treat the root cause so that every part of your financial life, protection, accumulation, and estate, functions in harmony rather than working against each other.
Having grown up watching both my parents battle critical illness in a household without financial safety nets, I saw firsthand how a single gap in financial literacy can unravel an entire family's stability. That experience taught me that knowledge and wisdom are what bring people true empowerment and conviction over their own lives. It is why I want to enrich people's lives by making them financially literate enough to make sound decisions with or without me in the room.
Too often, clients come to me after buying products in isolation, a unit trust here, a savings plan there, each recommended without regard for the full picture. This piecemeal approach almost always leads to the same three outcomes: Confusion, Conflict, and unnecessary Costs. My role is to replace these with their opposites:
Clarity on where you stand. Cohesion across every part of your financial life and your family's future. Certainty that your legacy will reach the people it was meant for.
If you believe your family deserves more than a folder of policies and want a plan built to protect them long after you're gone, let's have a conversation.
